Young Textile Art triennale

In collaboration with Mean graphic design studio, we developed a comprehensive visual identity for the Young Textile Art Triennale 2025 and its sister event for art high school students, Nowe Wątki (New Threads). Both initiatives served as key accompanying events for the International Triennale of Textiles in Łódź, focusing on the creative energy of the youngest generation of fiber artists.
PROBLEM
The primary task was to design a cohesive and versatile system capable of spanning a vast range of deliverables—from social media assets and animations to large-scale outdoor advertising, invitations, and two extensive catalogs. We aimed to visually translate the concept of "weaves" and textile textures in a non-obvious way, ensuring the aesthetic resonated with a younger demographic while honoring the prestige of the international festival.
RESULT
The final identity is a dynamic interplay between organic, hand-drawn spiderweb structures and a rigorous typographic grid. We utilized a palette of vibrant, high-contrast colors and gradients to evoke a youthful energy, reflecting the spirit of the participants. By placing typography within strict boxes with minimal margins—cutting through the soft, organic backgrounds with sharp blocks of solid color—we achieved a synthetic and modern look that mimics the intricate yet structured nature of fabric.
